Graphic Tee Guide for Grown Men

325views

One develops their style as they age and grow intellectually. However, some people dress the same way upon growing up as they did in their 20s. It is good to retain certain aspects of your style from your teenage or 20s but not evolving at all can make you look bad at times. A common perception is that grown-up men who continue to dress like their 20-year-old self are either blackout drunk or irresponsible. Not necessarily a true perception but it is also not refutable. The men under the scope here are not those who dress like their teenage self when they are chilling during their off duty hours but those who dress that way all the time. For the lack of a better word, some responsibilities come with adulthood, and one of them is dressing for your age.

Having expressed the dilemma, it is also important to have fun with your style but at an appropriate time and place, of course. Just about everyone wore the laid back tees with shorts or jeans while growing up and they still do as the weather gets warmer but wearing it all the time can be detrimental to your look and personality. To make life easier for all grown men out there who are not sure which tees are better than others, here is a quick graphic tee guide:

  • Walk Away from Brand Logo Tees: Brand logo tees happen to be the most laid-back of graphic tees as they exist to announce to the world which brand you are wearing. So, as you grow, you might want to look for brand logo t-shirts that have a small logo either on the sleeve or at the position of a chest pocket. You might want to let the teenagers do the showing off.
  • Less is More, think Minimalistic: Grown-up men know that practicality and subtleness kicks in to replace all the blingy, flashy and gaudy stuff. Even simple things such as mobile phone cases, keyrings, paint or wallpaper of your living room turn subtle as you grow and so should your choices in clothing. You might want to buy less of the overall printed graphic t-shirts and replace these with more sophisticated choices. Also, when browsing through tees that have text on them, go with the single word printed t-shirts.
  • Prefer Photographs or Abstract Artwork: When buying graphic t-shirts for men , give preference to the ones that have a photograph printed on it and if you find something with abstract artwork, it is even better. You would not just be able to pull off such tees better but they also add to your casual look.

As a general rule, try to make subtleness your new key to casual shopping as you might want to come across as someone thoughtful about your fashion statement as you grow. Try to let go of the choices that you made when you were 20 and make the best of the new horizons that have opened up with growing up.
